I disagree.  When trying to figure out a puzle of any sort, don't =
handicap yourself by eliminating one of your most valuable senses.  John =
is right.....you can still pick up helpful clues in a very low vis =
situation.

    It was explained to me (And I notice the effect) that
    shutting your eyes 'shuts-off' the part of your brain that
    deals with visual sensory input so you get more firepower
    working on the other inputs - tactile and auditory. Works
    for me.
