Thank you all who responded to my request for info on O2 analyzers. I built one and it seems to be working great! If any of you out there were stupid and bought an O2 Stick as I did, don't despair! I gutted it when the sensor went dead and used the parts to make the analyzer. If you want, send me a note and I will tell you how to modify the panel meter and other parts to get it to work. An interesting note: the Analox sensor that was in the O2 Stick acually put out ~24 mV for 20.9% O2. This means that the Stick only has a trimming potentiometer in it which acts as a voltage divider and lowers the voltage. By removing a resistor on the installed panel meter and reconnecting the 10 kohm pot, you can bulid an analyzer as described in the listed sites. If you use the 10 k pot, you can use the analyzer with any sensor, including ones like the Analox. <http://spiff.physics.mcgill.ca/scuba/gear/analyser.html http://www.cisatlantic.com/trimix/Analyzer/analyzer.htm http://home.beseen.com/sports/mk15/index.html> Again, thanks for all the responses.
