Packing as we speak:-) >> Hi Mark, Not a new spot but one that is not used very much. It's called "27 steps" and is a small system, but I can just about guarantee you'll be alone in there. Take the dirt road into the jungle opposite the main Akumal entrance and turn right on the road (??? - path - trek??) where the power poles cross the road. About 1/8 of a mile (I think after the third or fourth pole) and it will be on your left. The line runs about ten ft under the water where you get into the cenote. A car or van with decent ground clearance can make it. Steve Gerrard's book gives a description. BTW I really like the book. Good luck and safe diving, Scott
