These people are all pathetic liars. They went in the area of 10k ROUNDTRIP, and it took them months. I put that line in on my first dive in that side of the cave ( the easy clear stuff by the entrance ) on a triple stage open circuit and was at dinner by 8:00 that night. Pathetic - Norstrom, Stone , Heinerth and the whole gang. The right equipment is what actually went 18,065 feet EACH WAY in three dives in 1998, and the right people did it - the ones who know how.
