screw the electric, go for the gas.  Home depot butane 
soldering torch oh, oh, oh (that was supposed to be the 
Tim Allen sound) for about 20 bucks.  Don't get the 
little B.S. ones that run on cigarette lighters.  Be 
careful not to melt the batteries...you have to go in 
from the side.
