I have two video housings I can't use. These are both for the Sony CCD-V9 or V99 camcorder. My camera died and I had to get a newer model. One is an Ikelite. It's the red metal and clear plastic type. It has both a dome port and a flat port. You can install either one. You can get an idea of what it looks like on their web site. Ikelite offered me 50% off on a new housing if I traded it in so it could be worth some real money to someone. How about $100? The other is from Hypertech, a company in Florida. This one is the PVC type with mechanical controls. It could be adapted to any of the larger (old FX series) Sony-type cameras I think (no guarantee). It has a dome port and a high quality .5x wide angle lens with it. Also includes various sizes of ballast packages. This would be a great start for those of you who have considered making your own housing since everything's already built. You just need to adjust the positioning of the controls. $150. I also have 2 U/W video lights. One is the Ikelite, as shown in their current catalog except it doesn't have the small NiCad battery pack, it has a 10 AH gel cell battery pack with charger. It is built to mount to the bottom of the above mentioned housing but, I assume, it will mount to other Ikelite housings. It has 2 light heads (also shown in their catalog). Each head has its own arm that is attached to the battery part so it's a self-contained package. Of course, these are removable and relocateable. They currently have 100 watt bulbs but can take whatever you want to use. This is about $800 worth in the catalog. I'll take $300. The other light is from Hypertech. The battery pack (12 Volt, 10 AH gel cell with charger) is built in a small diameter PVC pipe. It also includes a light head mounted on an Ikelite arm. The arm is connected to the battery pack by coiled power cord with connectors that can be plugged and unplugged underwater. This arm has the standard mounting hardware as furnished by Ikelite so it will mount to any Ikelite standard mounts. The head has three 100 watt bulbs. These can be turned on sequentially to produce 100, 200, or 300 watts. Of course, you could change these to smaller sizes. I have a spare bulb, too. This is the size light you need for daylight open ocean video, it really brings out the color. Also good for illuminating large sections of caves. I'll take $300. If you'd like to trade, I need a pair of LP95's. If you think the price is too high, make an offer. Jack
