     the liar
Subject: Re: [wkpp] Incorrect Information in Jan/Feb Issue of Rodale's
Scott, the lead they put line in ( 1000 feet by their claim) is on the
right split of B tunnel just inside of where JJ , Casey and I put it on
our first dive in the cave years ago. We added 1800 feet that day to
Paul Heinerth's "4,000", which is either about 3,000 or I have a 300 fpm
scooter. That was a triple stage dive, and we made it to the Outback for
steak that night. For both Heinerths, it was an all night deco and some
ridiculous bottom time. I figure their dive at about 5500 feet. I can
send "Toast" back in to toast it and see. I don't dive B Tunnel - it
looks like Ginnie in there now.

In other words , Jill Heinerths 10,000 foot dive is ROUND trip at best,
and no record of any kind, other than a record for lying in the most
publications. Let me go puclicly on record to say the she is a liar, and
that a lie is anything but the truth. To even intimate that these people
went 14,00o feet is also a lie. The fact is that had they gone 14,000,
they would have found one of the biggest junctions in Underwater
Florida, and have been able to lay line in two directions. The 18K end
is the third. The end of the 18K is past the Huddle House, by the way,
and is underneath the next town.

Rick Stanton, the Brit who did the longest dive in the cave ( O Tunnel )
on the Wk 2 Project, phoned me and told me where he went - around in
circles and just near the M Tunnel crossover - about 8500 feet on my
survey, about 2500 feet shy of where JJ , Brent and I put it on open
circuit in a seven stage dive. Nonetheless, this was a great effort by
Stanton and the other stroke since they were using unrealiable equipment
( their words not mine). Stanton was aghast to find out that we had
hidden the parallel clear water tunnel that runs all the way to Cherokee
Sink. In fact he called me a "bastard". The way we did this was to have
Toast go to Indian and "let it slip " that there was a better way to get
there - K Tunnel . K is on the other side of the cave.
