Mitch,

I fly Mexicana frequently to Cancun from Los Angeles as I like their =
food. Once last year security stopped my son and I from boarding with a =
couple of Spectrum 14's. We were taken back to the main terminal where =
the Mexicana manager looked up the regulations regarding batteries then =
forcefully argued with the security superintendent to allow us onboard. =
He was great and held the plane during all of this, about 30 minutes in =
all. Security finally stood down and off we went. Because of that =
incident I now pack the battery and canister in my checked luggage and =
carry-on the lighthead. If you ever do check your canister, do not =
attach or secure the lid as they will crack in a unpressurized hold-not =
that it's ever happened to me!
=20
Regards,
JR Gordon=20
