Thank you for your insight regarding Mako scooters. I hope my personal
experience will reflect yours. To this point, I have been very happy with
my Mako. My concerns are that failures have occurred under the conditions
reflected in my original listing. However, hopefully, the problem is not
widespread. I will keep in mind the "operator's" mistakes you discussed to
avoid those situations.
I have not doubt that Oceanic continues marketing the scooters, because
it is profitable. I also hope that environment continues, which means the
product is good, and they stand behind it. Obviously, as with most
mechanical situations in which I wish consistent performance, I am
interested in prevention more than repair.
