> A question from downunder. > What configuration do you use to attach your liftbag to your crotch strap ring? > It is still very common to bungy the bag to the side of your tanks in this part of the world. What I have done (not my idea, I just borrowed it) is to use bungees fixed through the bottom holes in the backplate, assuming that you have a SS backplate. I use a similar method to fix a folding flag to the side of the BP. This keeps stuff close to the body, between the cylinders and the body NOT below the cylinders, and less likely to cause problems with line. However on a recent GUE cave course it was suggested to remove the bungees since the kit they were intended for was not necessary in the cave. OMS and others do have a storage pouch that fits in the 'V' of the backplate. Although I have not had any trouble reaching from the bottom of the BP, I have not tried reaching up into the 'V'. To date I have not had any comfort problems due to the roll between my back and the cylinders. hth Paul
