Thanks for all the input on my Oring question. All my questions were =
answered. Everyone pretty much agreed that durometer is something I =
needed to look into with the Lowe's Orings. I called the Oring company =
that supplies Lowe's and all their Orings have a durometer of 70-80. I =
spoke with an engineer. He told me the rings are fine for Scuba. Name =
of the company is Danco and they are based out of Concordville PA. =
(1-610-361-8612) Nice people. The temperature rating for the Danco =
Orings are -65 - 265 degrees F.

I understand that some Orings for plumming have a durometer of only =
about 30...which is not hard enough for the high pressures of compressed =
gas. The recomended durometer rating for high pressurized gas is 70, =
according to the censes.

I had a few people mention McMaster Carr as a reliable supplier for =
Orings. They have a web page you can check out with a simple search.

Thanks again,

Brian
