I have two drysuits: the one I'm using right now has room for the about a half-an-inch thick underwear and I can reach my valves and the butt D-ring without overstretching the material. I don't know how much weight I'll need! I have an eight pound v-weight I can put on and then start with a six pound belt. As for the 65 degree plus water temperatures, I can use my suit that is a tad smaller and some thermo undies and shorts; then maybe I won't need a v-weight at all. I asked how much should be on the weight belt because it seems obvious that if you drop too much weight, you go ballistic!? By dropping more than six pounds, you will be immediately overpositive and probably won't be able to slow down your accent. Which brings me to a more in depth question: would you or George say, put 4-6 pounds on the belt or more? Certainly not sixteen lbs? That seems to me to dangerous. Do you have more than six pounds on you belt in salt water? or less? willing to try it, if it sounds sensible Randy
