Hope everyone had an enjoyable Easter weekend. I just wanted to report
on the Ginnie Springs Easter Egg Hunt.
Thirty-six (36) eggs were placed in the water (ow and cavern/cave).
The eggs were marked with numbers corresponding to prizes. Eggs were
to be brought to me at the store between 1 and 4 pm Easter Sunday to
claim prizes. Twenty-eight of the thirty-six eggs were found and turned
in for prizes.....One Annual Pass was claimed...the second Annual Pass
Egg was not found. The prizes ranged from Annual Dive Passes, Air Fill
Cards, Camping & Diving Packages, Masks, T-shirts, etc. Total gift
value was over $1500!!
Not to exclude the children of divers and campers.....over 500 plastic
eggs were hidden in the fields for the Little Ones. It was a site
seeing the children run through our fields with their baskets in search
of plastic eggs filled with candy, jewelry, toys, or coupons for
camping passes or large toy selections etc.
I hope all of you had a wonderful Holiday with your family and friends.
For those of you that joined us here at Ginnie....as always, we
