This is at least the second time you have made this accusation and, though I realize you meant it some what tongue in cheek, I still resent the implication. I personally like Lamar Hires, find him to be one of the few true gentlemen in Cave diving and think him a fantastic diver. His current light does not suit my needs. I used AUL lights and did not find them to suit my needs. I am currently using a light that does suit my needs. So why am I offended? I cave dive three weekends out of four, do dives that most would consider fairly substantial and like to believe that more goes into my selection of dive gear than who I like.
