Phi, I own both compressors. EMPHATICALLY.......the Bauer is the best! I've used both compressors with both gas and electric drivers. When I need true portability, I use the gas driver. When I'm at home I switch to the electric driver. I built a small tray that allows me to swap drivers quickly. There is a carbon monoxide detector in the outlet of both compressor. I highly suggest you invest in this option if you ever plan on running a gas driver on the compressor. If you decide to by the Coltri/Max-Air 35 compressor, I have a complete set of spare parts for you.
