>It has "come to my attention" that the uwatec bottom timers max out at >328ffw(indicated). =20 In metric it is 99.9m that is true !They dont warp around the stop ! >Is anyone diving deeper than this? If so, what are they using? (No >computers, please) The old ones >I remember hearing the "old" version worked > 328ffw... is there a way to >get a hold of these units?=20 The older ones jump from 99.9 to 100 and then skip the decimal point. You can get the old ones sometimes labeled from other companies like ProSub etc. Or you can swap them with recreational divers or on Flea-markets. If you are telling someone that he is getting a new one with 10 dives = in the timers logbook instead of 4dives and you tell him why it is likely = i am sure you can swap the units. The newer Aladin computer stop displaying more than 127m by the way... Here you have to use the old PRO Computers without PC-Interface-connectors. (They also have the user-replacable Battery) >(I am not claiming to be doing this, I'm just "curious")=20 Of course ! ;-) >Thanks in advance. You=B4re welcome. Michael
