Rich-- I can understand your defense in regards to the Cis-Lunar, but where
was Dr. Kenndal's safety diver???? "Maybe" the lax safety protocol that I
myself experienced at Wak-Me-2 might have something to do with this, and who
would you suspect is ultimately responsible for the enforcement of this?????
(a) Donald Duck (b) PADI (c) Bill Stone. From what I gather over here, Dr.
Kenndal walked into the water with all the warning bells ringing, and the 02
selector switch in the off-board position, which had no bottle attached to
it (am I correct so far?) My question is, why was Dr. Kenndal excused from
the pre-dive RB safety check, which includes a second review by the safety
officer of the day at Wakulla? My guess would be that since Stone, as the
team leader has refused to act on other safety violations, everybody did
pretty much as they pleased, and why not, we all knew their would be no
repercussions! Stone's inability to grab the reins, and in force the
so-called safety guidelines he and his safety committee promulgated, and
told the world that they use, are what killed Dr. Kenndall in my opinion. If
not, why did it take a half hour to discover that a diver with "all" the
warnning bells flashing when he went into the water was dead???? Shouldn't
anyone of the "many" so-called safety messures suposively put in place
stoped this?? Or could it be that no one wanted to speak up because they
would be labeled a "problem child" like me, or were they just to busy
breaking their own safety rules?? If not, why?? Every time I spoke up, I was
told to shut-up and just have fun diving, or that I had a chip on my
shoulder (remember that one?). I will never shut-up when I see blatent
safety violations, nor do I give a %$@%^ about weather I can, or can't dive
Wakulla (I have too many other places I can dive)

Rich, out of respect for you and others, I took the sideline when you asked
me to. But I am sorry my friend, I can no longer do this. I have not to date
seen the PP02 charts myself for Dr. Kenndal's dive, but have talked to
people who have. While these people do not understand the charts, they did
mention that the "little line" went up at the start of the dive (desent),
then went down and leveled off way below the starting point for a little way
(Hypoxia), then went back up again (My gusse on this one is Dr. Kenndall was
in mid water, and sunk to the bottom, which gave the rise in PP02's at this
point) and then again leveled off at the "way below" point (the diver was
now on the bottom).

Rich--Again, I truely respect you, but your questions to John Rose are based
on "piliminary reports". Did you know that the coroner has not even to date
seen the PP02 read outs, nor dose he seem to be interested in them. We all
seem to know that Dr. Kenndall went into the water with the gas block in the
wrong postion (at least thats what you and others said), so how this could
happen at a Wal-Mart??

Respectifuly,

Mike Bruic
