Relevant Question. It's good to talk about diving stuff for a change. 1. Put valves on tanks (an easy one) and lay tanks on the floor 2. Install isolator. Turn reverse until you feel the threads are ok on both sides, then turn in the right direction to assemble the manifold (leave enough space between tanks. 3. Slip bands over tanks. 4. If bolts are not grinded (to avoid dents from damaging tanks, grind approx two inches of the threads where they would come in contact with the tanks 5. Insert bolts through band holes, but the back plate on to ensure proper spacing of the bands (11 inches) remove backplate. 6. Install washers and nuts (note that I normally install the locking nuts prior to step 5 (I know from experience how much they have to be turned). Ensure that when screwing the nuts, you also adjust the isolator so there is no pressure on the isolator threads. It should always be easy to turn the isolator by hand, even when the bands are tights. Before the bands are tights, be sure that the double is really flat on the floor. Lastly, lock the nuts on the manifold with light pressure (it is easy to break the threads).
