As usual your response is devoid of science, just voodoo.
Irrespective of the source of the carbo the physiol response is the 
same.  Read up on a few well established physiol books.
It is not being afraid, it is some thoughts why sugar intake is 
followed by hypoglycemia potentiating oxtox.  Where did scare come in?
 
Another thought: Is this voodoo stuff affecting your eye sight or 
comprehension, both relatively high level brain f(x)s.

Interesting as it could B the manifest of a ying-yang effect.
Glu per say has been implicated in neurol oxtox.
Intake of glu also causes insulin increase.  Thus if diver toxes when
hypoglycemic, excess insulin could B the putative contributor (as well
as a plethora of other factors).

Just a thought.
