Beginning in Fall 1999, I have openings in my lab for M.S. or Ph.D. students to conduct biological and ecological investigations of marine caves. These studies are primarily being carried out in the Bahamas and Yucatan Peninsula. Students will pursue their studies through either the Oceanography or Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences departments of Texas A&M University. My students typically spend their first two semesters in College Station taking classes before transferring to Galveston campus to begin their research studies. Graduate fellowships and teaching assistantships are available. I am primarily interested in candidates with a strong academic background and cave diving certification. For more information, please e-mail or call. Sincerely, Tom Iliffe ********************************************* Dr. Thomas M.
