Subject: Re: Deep Cave Exploration

 Dear Sir,
I represent the Woodville Karst Plain Project
and we are the group that explored Wakulla Springs and the other caves in
this region. Our exploration takes us all around the world with projects
mostly in North Florida but others as remote as Turkey and Brazil. Our last
dive to 18,000' was at 300' depth and is currently the longest dive in the
world (the second longest at 15k is a dive we did in the same area). We
generally look at these distances as inconvenient and are more interested
in the work we can do as a result of the extended range. If you are not
getting the information you need about the group please let me know and I
would be happy to discuss this with you.

 Sincerely,
 Jarrod Jablonski

 Mr. Jablonski;

Thank you for the information that you have offered. I have visited several
web sites as well as the ones you mention. I find the topic of deep cave
exploration to be in tune with the some of subject matter of the revision of
said book. I'm also in the process of gathering informations for the revision
of "One Day On Our Planet"
In perhaps one, or both books I would like to have included several
paragraphs pertaining to underwater cave exploration and the accomplishments
of the WKPP. In addition to the WKPP, I have received informations from other
groups doing similar studies in Florida as well as groups doing studies in
other parts of the world.
From a legal standpoint I am required to follow certain guidelines as to how
I proceed. Regretfully, regardless of my desire to have included your groups
accomplishments in our publications I am unable to do so as I have received
several E-mails promising litigation if I do so. This combined with the
unwarranted responces to my request I respectfully decline and as such
formally withdraw said offer.

Respectfully,
Eric Carter
