Thanks to all of you who responded with suggestions on trimix instructors. I was recommended TDI, IANTD, and GUE agencies and several instructors. I am pretty decided against TDI due to a lot of bad press and personal experience in a Deep Air class with TDI. There has also been a lot of bad things said about IANTD on this list. That leaves GUE. I don't know how accepted a certification from GUE would be anywhere else in the country or world besides the cave community in Florida, though. Are they recognized by the other agencies and dive operators? Besides all that I don't want to have to take an Intro Trimix, Basic Trimix, and Advanced Trimix just to learn trimix. It should be all in one course. I also don't want to have do any deep air dives below 130 feet. Oh, yeah, several asked where I am. I'm in the Dallas, TX area. I would have to travel somewhere to find deep clear water so it doesn't matter where the instructor is I suppose.
