Well, I gues with Jill Heinereth's successful completetion of her monumental 18,000 foot dive in the basin of Wakulla springs, the WKPP must now concede that the usdct does indeed hold the end of the line in the basin. However, even that is still not the longest dive at Wakulla...18,000 feet only gets you in. Round trip is 36,000 feet. I expect tonites update will read "Jill Heinerth, meanwhile, logged a 36,000 foot rehearsal run along the test course in just under 4 hours using 4 cubic feet (112 liters) of oxygen for the entire dive." If we had know that that is where they were going to be concentrating their efforts, we would have put little notes for them all around the basin instead of all along the actual cave. Have they found the one at 120' yet? Gotta love it, Trout
