Richie, too bad . You are on the cc list, and that means Mount was
badmouthing me to you. You go ahead and tell Tom that you do not want to
hear that, Richie.

Since you started it up again, I have a special treat for all of you.
The following is from an IANTD cave diving test. Are you ready? Here
goes.

Question # 22

"On exiting a cave you have had a total air failure and are sharing air
with your buddy. To exit the cave there is a tight restriction that
continues for approximately ten feet/ three meters, and makes a half
hitch. Due to this formation it is impossible to share air while working
ones way through the restriction. What will you do?

a. Go as far into the restriction as possible than spit out the
regulator, complete exiting the restriciton and wait on the air donor

b. Give the regulator back to the donor ans swim rapidly through the
restriction and wait for the donor on the other side of the restriction.

c. Stop as you approach the restriction , take five slow Tai Chi
breaths, followed by three hyperventillations, have the donor go through
the restriction and wait holding the air source towards you once the
donor exits the restriction, as you swim SLOWLY through the restriction.
Then commence sharing air again with a short pause for three breaths
prior to resuming the exit swim .

d. Stop as you approach the restriction take three slow breaths, send
the donor through first then swim as quickly and close on the heels of
the donor as possible so you may obtain the alternate air source
immediately upon exiting the restriction, then begin to exit the cave."
