Hello Everyone, This coming Sunday (Dec 13) I will be flying down to Orlando and driving up to Ginnie Springs for 4 days of cave diving. But I have a couple of questions before leaving. First question is drysuit or not? Here's a little back ground, I completed my cave certification this past Jan. I did those dives in a wetsuit. Back home I do my diving in a drysuit (Viking) using ankle weights. From my cave training I was told that ankle weights were a big no, no. I have tried diving without the ankle weights but have a problem with air getting trapped in the foot area and causing problems. Today in the mail arrived a pair of gators from Halcyon, what do you think? will they take care of the problem or should I stick with the wetsuit. FYI I guess I'm leaning towards the drysuit, figure I might as well work through any problems I might have now instead of later. Next question, when I was last at Ginnie I believe that for doubles they just had alum. 80's has this changed? If not is there anywhere to rent steel 95's or 104's? OK last question, Anyone want to go diving next week? I plan on staying at the High Spring Country Inn from sunday evening till Thurs. Then I have to drive down to Miami to meet my wife. To all who take time to answer my questions, Thanks........... Al
