Aquanaut's advertizing is not part of any large-scale internet advertizing network. All adverts on our site are hosted here and are paid directly to us.
Aquanaut readership ranges from the avid diver, to the recreational diver, snorkeller, technical and commerical diver, to those who are just interested.
Since Aquanaut has been largely unmaintained for some time, in order to re-attact interest and to gauge volume, we are currently offering completely free banner adverts for a limited time. To have your advert included, please contact the webmaster. You will need to send one or more banner images and your ad will be posted free of charge for twelve months. Ads should be of interest to the diving and technical diving community and should contain content appropriate for audiences worldwide and in all age-groups. We reserve the right to reject, at our sole discretion, ads of an inapropriate nature or ads containing illegal content or ads which direct users to sites with inappropriate or illegal content.
Banner adverts are displayed on several Aquanaut pages. Banners are selected for display from the pool of available banners on a random basis. Banner adverts must be 460x60 pixels and can be in JPG or GIF formats. When displayed, your banner advert looks like this:
The banner ad images, together with the link that you would like your ad to go to, a short description of your site and also a few keywords can be emailed to the webmaster. Please note again the 460x60 size for the banner ad images. Images should be in JPG or GIF format.
Advertising copy will only be placed on the Aquanaut server on
receipt of payment. Free for now!
Banners accepted for this free promotion will remain on the server for a period of twelve months from the banner start date. This free promotion may be ended at any time at our discretion.
Banners are selected for display from the pool of available banners on a random basis. No metrics are offered as part of this promotion. No information about numbers of impressions or click-throughs will be sent.
Notification of term ending will be sent by email prior to removal of copy. Renewals will be accepted, and if payment is received prior to expiration of the current term, copy will remain on the server without interruption.
One banner entry per company/organization/website will be accepted for the free promotion. You may replace your banner ad free of charge once every three months.
