I AM NOT CONSIDERING CAVE DIVING with any info you folks provide....or caving diving period given both my lack of training and barely making enough NON disposable income :) Just curious about those great systems that seem they should be BUT arent! And as a dry caver I can tell you I have spend alot of time in pursuit of the dry cave equivalent of such things.... Also....many years ago I used to follow a diving newsgroup or perhaps it was a cavediving newsgroup...and I saw a post which basically said something along the lines of "We found a cool new cave..diving it next weekend".... Well, from the the way the post was written it certainly sounded like a younger person and almost certainly one not trained for cave diving.... At the time I only checked such online things about once a week...I sent the guy the most polite/diplomatic email that I could come up that still had the gist of "sounds like you dont know WTF your getting yourself into, contact XYZ for info, sorry if I've misjudged your experience training level etc etc"... Well, AOL said the email wasnt read, and I never got a reply and eventually AOL said the account no longer existed....big bummer because shortly after that the story appeared of two(one?) younger (teens?) diving and dieing in some shitty silt hole Florida....if only I had checked the group sooner...and I was kinda pissed that no one else in the group had warned these guys...but maybe others did so privately like I had done...was a unpleasant experience none the less....I believe the time frame was the 95-97 era...
