I stand corrected i meant seas. The lakes or aproximately 94,000 square
miles and If i rember right the Artic is probably the smallest ocean which
is Circa 5,000,000 square miles. I know there is no comparison there. I
mistated and am wrong. I saw a posting of currents from OCC on there and we
dive in the rapids area. and the winds are blowing down the channel and we
dive in te channel so if I follow what the site said the current is around
5-6 mph. The surface reading from the boat speedometer last time I was
anchored in that area for a concert actually read 7.7 knots whie anchored so
I was in the ball park

And I meant 250' deep. The old river bed that runs through the straights of
mackinac.

Oh I guess we need to through cave divers in as well they camp out and take
there gear to the edge of the cave system then dive in. In fact the first
time I saaw a picture of a tarp being used is from geine springs. So they
must not be real tech divers either. ;-)
