Yes Paul it was the St. Clair. Over in sarnia went out to the barge and =
drifted into the monarch. Water was fast on saturday. But it averages 6 =
-10 knots of current. I used 8 as an arbitrary number. Could have been 7 =
maybe it was 9 I was to busy diving to actually measure it. Any ways =
thanks to everyone with the advice about the ear. Unfortuinately I am =
out of diving for at least a few weeks or more.

I've done about a dozen 6-7 knot current dives in the St. Clair River =
between Lake Huron and Lake St. Clair. It's a riot, you just need to =
make sure you don't get out into the shipping channel and try to =
surface.

  Was this the St. Clair??

I was doing a routine dive to about 55 ffw with about 8 knors of =
current.

      Are you kidding? Eight knots =3D 9.2 statute miles/hour =3D 13.5 =
feet/sec =3D 810 feet/min.
      In runner's terms a 6:30 mile or 2:49 for a marathon.
This is not even routine for a runner never mind a swimmer/diver.
      Are you sure about that?
